Eclipse maven updating indexes slow

Repositories can be declared inside a project, which means that if you have your own custom repositories, those sharing your project easily get the right settings out of the box.

However, you may want to use an alternative mirror for a particular repository without changing the project files. Maven will not aggregate the mirrors but simply picks the first match.

Worker.run(Worker.java:55) Don't think this is a blocker for the release. But the app providing the infos does seem to have a bit of an issue.

Might need to think about doing something about it, but I don't know what we can easily do.

The only way to increase the chance someone is able to fix it is to submit the issue and to have enough patience to handle the issue (reply questions, provide more details, don't get offended by developer's questions/comments...).

Let's summarize what you need to do in order to file a useful bug report on scanning: These are the points that I see as the most important when submitting the scanning and indexing issues.

The nature of the thing is that it resolves maven dependencies and so its going to fill up the maven cache over time. If it needs more resources maybe its not something that can really run comfortably inside CF unless we can somehow give it more disk. But the app providing the infos does seem to have a bit of an issue.

It was also at the edge of its memory requirements. It uses an in memory cache I can probably tweak to free up memory by removing old entries. Might need to think about doing something about it, but I don't know what we can easily do.
