Voices in Power (VIP) Project- NW Network This project offers a wide array of support to lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans youth (14-23) around issues of violence and crime, such as dating violence, bullying, hate violence, assault, exploitation, theft, police harassment and youth in the sex trades.
Reel Queer Youth Reel Queer Youth is a video production and media literacy training for LGBTQ youth and their allies ages 13-20.
Co-facilitated by trained professionals, the B-GLAD group enables youth to meet their peers, share common concerns, ask questions in a safe environment, and receive information and support in a professional setting that encourages responsible decision-making. Facilitated by transgendered adults, this group provides a chance for youth who have questions or are exploring their gender identity, or who identify as transgendered, to get to talk with adults and other youth about their experiences, feelings, and issues.
Sno GLOBE Equality Alliance, in Snohomish County, WA (425) 280-6508A Snohomish group working to promote equality, acceptance, support, and resources for GLBTQ youth, adults and allies. This long-standing group is one of the very few transgender youth discussion groups anywhere in the world and is one example of how Lambert House is an international leader in LGBTQ youth support.
Young Adult Emergency Shelter (YAES) 206.374.0866.2711 3rd Ave, Seattle, WA 98121 (above Street Bean Espresso) Shelter for 18 young adults, 18-23 years old, who are in good standing with New Horizons Sunday-Thursday nights, pm-am (Breakfast at 8am) YYA can put their name on the list before 8pm on the day they need shelter.
